I wrote these thoughts down a year and a half ago… thought I would share today…..
Here is something that has been kicking around in my head and heart for a while…simply my thoughts….
There are many thoughts out there about being strong alone, not needing anyone, self-love being the key to happiness, etc.
I agree that loving oneself and having good self-esteem is very important to one’s emotional health.
My thought is that maybe we place too much importance on being alone. We at times need to ask for help, on supporting and serving one another, and accepting that support.
Is it not possible for some of us that we need others? For thousands of years we have lived together. In tribes, communities, bands, groups, families…..
Humans are a species that is stronger when we have others with us. Alone is hard.
So whether it be family, friends, or a special somebody in our lives. Most people need others, want other people around them. Someone to love them. Someone for them to love.
This LOVE that they share can help build Self-Esteem
Maybe some people are truly totally happy on their own.
But for others… alone is not where they are truly their greatest… their strongest… their happiest.
To reach that pinnacle… they need someone….
Increasing your Self-Esteem, your self-confidence and being true to yourself comes easy to some and is hard for others…It is something you can learn and practice.
LOVE everyday… 🙂

Recognize how you serve others, and be proud of that service. It can be the little things or the big things. How you act, how your resonate your feelings, how you shine. You can serve others in so many ways……. ~ Jack Zenert
