Serenity NOW!
Many of you are smiling already…..
How loudly did you scream that in your mind like George’s Dad?
(If you never watched Seinfeld…. please move on to the next post…. 🙂 )
While that was funny, the concept was real.
Serenity Now was a way to be mindful, to calm yourself, to signal yourself to relax.
A way to move into a better state.. both heart and mind.
During troubled times, it is harder and harder to move into that state of Serenity.
We need to practice this on a daily basis, so that we can be mindful, and be in a state to handle all the craziness the world is throwing at us.
A suggestion I received, and I am working at it is to do this first thing every morning. Picture yourself in a calm bubble first thing. Inside that bubble we are safe, warm, happy. Our mind is at peace, our heart is open to Love.
Allow that feeling to sink in.
Do this each day. Like a habit, it will take time, but keep at it each and every morning.
Possibly even speak the words ‘Serenity Now’ or whatever word works for you.
Then when we encounter trouble times throughout the day… we calmly speak our ‘Serenity Now’ words to ourselves and move into that bubble that we have practiced each morning.
Trust me, it will help you get through……
